Hi! I’m Grayson McNulty, a passionate background artist and environment designer with a Bachelor of Animation (Honours) from Sheridan College. I love using environments as a powerful storytelling tool in animation—setting the mood, supporting the narrative, and bringing worlds to life. Over the years, I’ve gained experience working in the industry as a background artist, and I’ve also dabbled in prop and character design. My time at Sheridan, especially during the production of our group film as well as my Background Artist Co-op Position at Pipeline, gave me hands-on familiarity with the animation pipeline and sharpened my skills with industry-standard tools like Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, and Toon Boom Harmony. I grew up on 90’s and early 2000’s cartoons, and that love never left me—they’ve deeply shaped my creative voice and continue to inspire my work today. Thanks for stopping by!
